Annual Meeting
The HCA annual meeting is our main social event of the year. It offers everyone the opportunity to meet new residents and find out what the Board of Directors has been working on during the past year, what the plans are for next year and allows owners and residents to raise matters of general concern.
An information packet will be distributed, and made available at the bottom of this page. We look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting.
2024 Election
Each year, HCA members elect members of the community to serve on the Board of Directors, which serves as the decision-making authority for the Cluster. These individuals are volunteers, who serve many hours each week to maintain and to improve the common property of the community, and to help make the Cluster a great place to live.
For 2024, there are three positions up for election. Prior to the Annual Meeting, there was an open call for candidates, and four candidates came forward to run.
Each household gets one ballot, on which you may vote for as many as three candidates, which may either be selected from the candidates listed, or by write-in vote. For 2024, you may vote in one of the following two ways: vote using our new electronic ballot system (the details for this process will be sent separately), or bringing a physical ballot to the meeting that will be provided in a separate email.
The election will be open from November 20th 8AM EST through December 12th 12PM EST, 2024. Please check your email for your voter keys. If you have not received your invitation and key please contact Harvey at harvey@hillcrest-cluster.com.
Agenda
Our meeting will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2023, at 6:30 pm. This will be a hybrid meeting. You have the option of attending in person at Lake Anne Community Center or virtually. There will be food available, followed by the annual meeting business, and presentation of election results. The meeting will feature updates from the board, the election of board officers, and time for an open forum for residents.

You can join either in person at the Lake Anne Community Center (1609-A Washington Plaza N, Reston, VA 20190) or by joining online. This is the best option to join to have full access to the visual meeting presentation and can utilize your computer audio and a webcam if you have one (though not required).
